The right time at the right place!
When scheduling a session, I take many factors into consideration! Some include what my clients vision is, when sunset/sunrise is, how far we all want to walk/ how many locations we want to do and much more! This lovely couple eloping in downtown Savannah of course wanted their photos to scream "Savannah" while also having a vintage/ nostalgic feel! They've seen some of my previous work that gave off the same vintage vibe and sent me those photos and a few others from other photographers to show me what their vision was! I LOVE when clients do this because I love knowing I'm creating exactly what the couple wants!! Seeing their inspiration photos and hearing about their vision I knew exactly where we needed to go during their session!
I plan sessions out beforehand so we're not just wandering around. I Planned this to start out at golden hour at Emmet Park in downtown Savannah on Bay st and to finish right back on Bay Street after sunset! Between that we went to the Alida Hotel and walking along River St! It seemed like we were at the right place at the right time for this whole session! The perfect lighting the whole time, the Cargo ship on the Savannah river right in the middle of the bridge, even the lizard on the rail for them to go home with a funny story!
I LOVE sessions like these where my clients really let (and want) us get creative! Since we're a husband and wife photography team in Savannah it was Quinn and I (I'm too pregnant right now to do these alone!!) I love shooting with him because we get two different angles with different lenses so I don't have to switch my lens all throughout the session! We had so much fun for this and our couple did too! Here's her review! "Couldn't have asked for better photos! They were really great with communicating throughout the whole process and really brought my vision to life. I sent my inspiration pictures and the theme I wanted and they figured out the rest and picked beautiful locations! 10/10!
Of course we delivered over 100 photos but here's some from each location!!
